Gamescom 2014 Xbox Press Briefing

Next Tuesday, we’re excited to join the Xbox team in the annual press briefing, where we’ll share some new announcements with you in our portion of the show. The show will be streamed at Twitch, so you’ve got no excuses. We’ll see you there.
Halo 2: Anniversary Multiplayer Hands-On
Halo 2: Anniversary will be playable for the first time on the gamescom show floor. We’ll be running 4v4 gameplay on Ascension and a yet-to-be-announced map, with multiple game types available for your enjoyment. Swing by the Xbox booth in Hall 6, where we’ll have a bunch of consoles and controllers waiting for you. We’re excited to watch you play and hear your thoughts on the anniversary treatment we’ve given to Halo 2 multiplayer. If you’re at the show, you will have a chance to play Wednesday through Sunday.

Sierra Entertainment set to return with new game at Gamescom 2014
Longtime gamers got a big surprise on Thursday night. A new splash logo has been revealed for Sierra Games, a decades-old development studio responsible for a countless number of games across a variety of platforms. Their work ranges from a large number of well-known franchises, including King’s Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Gabriel Knight, and Ultima. They’ve also helped publish a number of Valve games, like Half-Life 2. And now it appears that they’re ready to return with an all-new project, set to be revealed at this year’s Gamescom.
Sierra fell under the Activision umbrella as part of the 2008 merger between Activision and Blizzard parent company Vivendi, which created the current Activision Blizzard giant we know today. The studio largely remained quiet since that sale, but it looks like Activision is ready to dust off the old brand and bring a new gaming franchise forward.
It’s clearly a bit early to speculate on what Sierra could be working on, but the fact that they’re even alive and kicking at all should raise excitement for anyone that grew up with their vast library of games.

Mozda nemaju najjacu konzolu na trzistu, ali uz SO & Crackdown, definitvno imaju najzanimljivije igre.

Da to je tacno,ali kakve veze ima nista to ne kvari utisak u igri to je tesko vidljiva razlika u grafici,i da crackdown stvarno izgleda impresivno,ali iskreno nikad pre nisam igrao prethodnike.
Da li ce i ovde na forumu biti kao za E3?
Pa nema nikakve veze u exluzivama hehehe Crackdown je prikazan kao CGI, ne kao aktuelni gameplay. Mada ne sumnjam da ce biti zabavan. Prvi dio je jako zanimjiv. Odigraj definitivno.

Titanfall’s third map pack to be revealed later this week at Gamescom
The first details on Titanfall‘s third and final map pack will be revealed during EA’s Gamescom press conference in Cologne, Germany, Respawn Entertainment has announced.
Titanfall‘s $29.99 season pass promised access to three planned DLC packs. The first, Expedition, released back in May, while the second, Frontier’s Edge, was made available last week. The final pack is expected to add three new multiplayer maps to the game, just as the previous two did.
EA’s press conference will begin at 10 a.m. CET (1 a.m. PST) on August 13 in Cologne, Germany.
