An emulator may be coming to Xbox One, featuring support for the NES, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, GameBoy Color, and GameBoy Advance.
Does this sound too good to be true? It might be. The report comes from the Twitter account of the retro emulator nesbox. The tweet claims that the program has passed Microsoft’s certification process, and will be appearing soon for Xbox One.
It is important to remember that, while emulators are legal, downloading ROMs of games is not. There’s also a good chance that developers may shut this down before it ever comes to the store to prevent illegal copies of ROMs from being played.
