External game storage support for Xbox One is “coming soon,” according to Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb.
Responding to a question on the Xbox One subreddit, Hryb revealed that support for game storage is in the works, but he was unsure on the status of external media support. “External game storage is coming soon….I need to check on media support,” he wrote.
When asked if there would be any storage limits, such as the Xbox 360′s 32 GB limit, he replied: “When I have details on that , I’ll let you know.”
Xbox One’s next major update will reintroduce online friend notifications, improve game saves and updates, improve Kinects voice and motion sensor quality, and more.
