Bethesda has been teasing a new Wolfenstein game called The New Colossus for a year now, but now a retailer leak has confirmed that the game is indeed coming out of the shadows at the publisher’s E3 2017 press conference.
The full title, according to a since-pulled listing on Amazon Germany screenshotted by NeoGAF user chadskin, will be Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, and it’ll be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. What’s more, the listing included a release date—October 27th, 2017—though it’s not clear whether that date reflects a worldwide release or just when it’ll launch in Europe.
The listings, premature as they were, didn’t feature any artwork or further descriptions. In fact, the listing doesn’t even appear to confirm that MachineGames, developer behind Wolfenstein: The New Order, is behind this sequel, but that seems all but certain based on previous comments from Bethesda.
Bethesda’s E3 press conference, where we’ll no doubt hear more, kicks off Sunday, June 11th, at 9 p.m. PT. We expect to see at least one other new game announcement during the presentation—but we have a pretty good feeling of what that will be, too.
