Update 1.50 has been pushed live for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PlayStation 4 that finally adds support for PlayStation 4 Pro.
It’s unknown exactly what improvements have been made to the game on Sony’s more powerful console, but, according to Digital Foundry, the game now runs at 4K using checkerboard rendering from 1920×2160 on 4K displays and uses supersampling on 1080p displays to offer a crisper image.
Previously, developer CD Projekt Red stated it would not be releasing a PlayStation 4 Pro update for the game, but changed its mind after announcing an Xbox One X upgrade earlier this year.
Since the release of update 1.50, the developer has pushed live update 1.51 that improves the overall stability of the game.
