The Settlers franchise will journey once more in 2014. Ubisoft announced the latest iteration of the franchise called The Settlers - Kingdoms of Anteria, with developer Blue Byte taking the reigns once more.
Ubisoft confirmed that the game is in development, but offered little else in terms of concrete information. The game will feature more of the series’ knack for combining real-time strategy combat with city-building elements. The CGI teaser can be seen below.
The last game in the Settlers series was The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom, which was quickly derailed by Ubisoft’s DRM scheme.
