The long-promised free PlayStation Plus Edition of Driveclub is now in the “final stages of development,” according to game director Paul Rustchynsky.
Since before the game launched, Evolution Studios has been promising that a free version of Driveclub would be offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers, but a plethora of server issues have prevented it from appearing.
Responding to a fan on Twitter asking about the PS Plus Edition, Rustchynsky said: “We’re in the final stages of development now.”
The free PlayStation Plus Edition will offer a limited amount of cars of tracks with the option to upgrade to the full release at a discounted price.
