Report: Battlefield Hardline beta begins February 3

Battlefield Hardline‘s upcoming second beta test will begin on February 3, according to a leaked community email sent out to Ronku members and a listing on the Xbox Store.

A leaked email (via Reddit) sent out to YouTubers who are members of EA’s Ronku program, which sponsors YouTubers for showing off certain aspects of EA titles, reveals that the upcoming second beta test for Visceral’s shooter will begin on February 3.

“Secondly, in case you haven’t heard the beta for Battlefield Hardline goes live on February 3rd and there will be both a YouTube & Twitch assignment for this beta launch,” the email reads. “More details on these assignments coming next week. I hope you are as excited as I am for the new Battlefield game!”

On top of this, a listing on Xbox.com for the beta also mentions a February 3 start date.

The beta will be available on all platforms and features three game modes: the classic Conquest and new Cops and Robbers orientated modes Heist and Hotwire.

Battlefield Hardline is set to launch March 17 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

Battlefield Hardline open beta confirmed for February 3, ‘Hacker Mode’ announced

Following a few slip ups early this week, EA has now officially confirmed that the Battlefield Hardline open beta will begin on February 3.

The beta will run for five days, until February 8, and is available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Three game modes will be available during the beta: Conquest, a traditional Battlefield mode that supports up to 64 players (24 on Xbox 360 and PS3); Hotwire, a mode where robbers attempt to steal marked cars and the cops try to stop them, and finally, Heist, where the robbers try to steal cash from a vault and the police have to stop them.

The game modes above will be spread across three maps during the beta. Conquest will take place on the Dust Bowl map, Hotwire gets Dust Bowl and Downtown, and Heist is on the Bank Job map.

“There’s nothing more valuable to our team than the relationship we have with our community. Their passion feeds our passion and their feedback has definitely helped make Hardline a better game,” said Steve Papoutsis, general manager of developer Visceral Games.

“We want them to play the hell out of the beta next week and trust that they’ll keep that feedback coming so we can continue to fine tune the game.”

As well as this, EA also lifted the lid on Hacker Mode. “Similar to Commander in Battlefield 4, Hacker Mode takes surveillance to the next level as the Hackers can take control over security cameras, spot enemies and specify areas on the Battlefield for their team to attack or defend,” the publisher explains. Hacker Mode will be available across all game modes during the beta.

Battlefield Hardline is set to launch March 17 in North America and March 20 in Europe.

Ljudi, je l’ ima mozda neko kod viska za 2 day xbox live gold a da mu nije potreban? Mislio sam da probam BFH betu a ne znam koliko mi se isplati da uplacujem za mjesec dana jer gold necu ni koristiti nakon bete… :slight_smile:
