Fable Anniversary lead designer Ted Timmins is leaving Lionhead Studios after climbing through their ranks over the course of a decade, he announced on Twitter.
“I’ve decided to leave Lionhead. This was a really tough decision, as I’ve had such an amazing time here,” Timmins wrote in a series of tweets. “Lionhead has been such an integral part of my life, more than 1/3rd of it infact! Which is why it’s a good time for change.”
In 2004, Timmins started his career at Lionhead by serving as a tester on the original Fable. He went on to do scripting work for Fable II and III, design work on Fable: the Journey, served as lead desiger on Fable Heroes and Fable Anniversary. According to his Twitter bio, Timmins was also the Fable franchise manager.
Fable Anniversary launched on Xbox 360 earlier this year on February 4. According to Ray’s review, the Xbox 360 update “still has some charming elements,” but for the most part “shows its age.”
