The first information on F1 2013 will be revealed at 2pm UK tomorrow, Monday, July 15, Codemasters has announced.
Posting on Twitter this afternoon, Codemasters’ community manager Luke Spring revealed the game’s logo and an image of the box spine, before telling fans that a “full announcement” is due at 2pm tomorrow.
“Tomorrow’s going to be a busy day. #F12013,” he said, later teasing that there are “some exciting new features” lined up for this year’s game.
Spring chose not to confirm whether F1 2013 is heading to next-gen platforms in addition to current-gen, however, instead telling a fan that “platforms will be announce[d] tomorrow”.
Don’t get too excited for a PS4 or Xbox One version, though. Unless Codemasters has changed its tune over the last 12 months, this year’s Formula 1 is likely only headed to current gen platforms.
Last year, game director Paul Jeal suggested that the game wouldn’t be hitting next-gen platforms until next year’s version, F1 2014.
