Destiny patch reduces the difficulty of certain missions

Bungie has released patch 1.0.1.4 for Destiny that addresses the difficulty of certain heroic story missions and fixes a bug in the Vault of Glass raid.

Once the patch is installed the difficulty of the Shrine of Oryx, Sword of Crota, and the Exclusion Zone missions will have been reduced by removing major enemies when the Heroic modifier is active.

The patch also addresses a bug inside the Vault of Glass that caused the raid to wipe if the relic was dropped at the end. However, the bug that causes players to remain dead if they are dead when the raid ends is still in the game and will be addressed in a future patch, according to Bungie.

The full patch notes are below:

Missions

Shrine of Oryx: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Sword of Crota: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Exclusion Zone: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Raids
Dropping the relic at the end of the raid will no longer result in a team wipe. This will prevent players being stuck at a black screen after the raid.
You will remain dead if you were dead when the mission ended. That will be addressed by a future patch.
Also, remember that from today the The Queen’s Emissary will be at the Tower handing out new bounties and missions to Guardians until October 6.
