We all knew this day would come—the final patch for Destiny has been released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
When Bungie announced that the upcoming Destiny expansion Rise of Iron would not be coming to the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, it was as if a thousand Gjallarhorns had been fired at the last-gen systems, heralding the end of an era. Players on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be able to still play old content, but nothing new will be coming their way as Bungie pursues new opportunities with the more powerful current-gen systems.
The patch was fairly insignificant, fixing a range of issues from the Postmaster to lost Legendary Marks. No parting gifts appear to have been put in place as the legacy consoles were put out to pasture.
