Beyond: Two Souls kosta "samo" $27 miliona

The production cost, which was funded by publisher Sony, was cited by Le Figaro as part of an interview with Quantic Dream founder and game director David Cage.

Touted as a psychological action thriller, the PS3 exclusive title spans 15 years in the life of protagonist Jodie Holmes, played by actress Ellen Page, who has a psychic link to a powerful supernatural entity. Willem Dafoe also stars in a supporting role as scientist Nathan Dawkins, an enigmatic figure working for a government division studying paranormal activities.

The soundtrack was composed by the award-winning Hans Zimmer, whose movie scores include The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight and Inception.

It was announced in August that Quantic Dream’s last game, February 2010’s Heavy Rain, had cleared three million sales. Quantic Dream co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere has suggested that the title cost $22 million (€16.3m / £13.7m) to produce, with a further $18 million spent on marketing and distribution. It went on to gross over $100 million for Sony.

The publisher has confirmed a Beyond: Two Souls release date of October 8 in the US and October 11 in the UK.

Ne znam kako vama, ali izlazak ove igre je meni kranje antiklimatican. Imali su strasno otkrivanje igre, sledeci hit QD…i sada mi se sve cini kao da pokusavaju da smanje ocekivanja za ovu igru. Nadam se da grijesim

Extra je sto Willem Dafoe ucestvuje koji mi je inace jedan od omiljenih glumaca tako da cu uzeti igru kada malo padne cena sada dok je tu Gta nazolost nema mesta za druge igre dugo vremena

Upravo radi ovoga cijenim Sony. To “samo” je miljama ispred MS-ovog broja exluziva. Ne govorim o cijeni “multiplatform” igara, kao što je GTAV. A pogledajte Sony, “zalazak” generacije, a toliki broj novih igara… Ujedno i jedan od razloga kupovine Ps3.
