Players who bought the Assassin’s Creed Unity season pass will learn how they can request their free game compensation next week, Ubisoft announced today.
Although the when and how to make that claim is still up in the air, Ubisoft says that all the details will be detailed next week.
Ubisoft announced this offer as an apology to players who bought Assassin’s Creed Unity early only to find the state of the game less than ideal. As compensation, Ubisoft decided to customers who picked up Unity get its first major DLC add-on, Dead Kings, free. Since this content would be included in the season pass, however, anyone who purchased the pass or the Gold Edition of the game that came with the season pass will be allowed to choose from The Crew, Far Cry 4, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Rayman Legends, or Just Dance 2015 as a compensatory free game.
Ubisoft also explained that season pass holders who did not activate the pass before November 25 may have to wait a little longer for their compensation as Ubisoft will need to verify the eligibility of their season pass.
Along with this offer, Assassin’s Creed Unity’s fourth major patch will be released next week as well, on Monday, December 15, bringing with it improved stability and performance.
