There is already a new version firmware in the wild wild, and naturally we are already in the process of testing, decapping and making sure it works with the new DG-16D4S Unlocked PCB.
I will say though that key extraction successful and key sector decryption is reversed and confirmed already – Team Jungle does it again
Also the 0225 firmware is finished and the 0401 firmware is in the last stages of development. Not long now.
It’s a repeat of the Slim Liteon 0401 drive all over again. The guys at Team Xecuter have posted up a picture of a Slim Liteon drive that has a firmware revision of 1071 out of the box manufactured in March 2011. (The time of the 0401 as well) Not to worry yet as Jungleflasher is able to extract the key and decrypt the key sector.
