You likely won’t be hearing about the newest entry in the Crackdown series until after 2014, according to head of Xbox Phil Spencer.
“Probably no Crackdown news for the rest of 2014,” he said on Twitter when asked about the game. “Team is making progress but they need time before we show anything again.”
Crackdown was officially announced for Xbox One during Microsoft E3 press conference back in June. Cloudgine have taken over development duties from Ruffian Games, and the game is said to feature a whole new campaign that’s fully playable in co-op, and new multiplayer modes powered by dedicated servers.
